Every year a group of Austrian interns from Slack Farms wander 20 km through Washington DC in one day and, after seeing the White House, the U.S. Capital, the Lincoln Monument, the iconic Washington Monument, they land on the pad of the Reflection Pool.

On a visit to the Tobacco Barn Distillery, we learned that the corn used for the whiskey is grown on the farm - which assures its quality for the whiskey making. Hannah points to the place the deer continue to bed down, crushing the edge corn ever so annoyingly…
