Wallpaper

It was the task of Antonia, Katharina, Charlie, and me, Laura, to give the Wine Cottage a fresh new look. Toni and I started by putting up new wallpaper on one side of the cottage. Maggie believes the brides are going to love it; she said that about five times. We quickly figured out how to do it, so we finished one side pretty fast and had a lot of fun with music playing in the background.

It was important to Maggie that Katharina and Charlie also learned how to put up wallpaper, so we taught them. After a bit of confusion, they managed quite well.

Antonia and I decorated the whole wine cottage with some tiny eucalyptus vines to give it a fresh and welcoming look. But that wasn’t the only day we spent with wallpaper. All six of us interns sorted and labeled all 1,200 wallpaper rolls Maggie owns.

And here I am on the John Deere 7700 which Raymond Norris uses for tractor pull competitions. He gets a lot of sponsors, and he’s very successful. The tractor is well known throughout the region.
