Squirrel

Each morning as the sun comes up,

The squirrel jumps, a happy pup.

In Woodlawn, where the peace is found,

Our furry friend is always around.

It leaps from branch to branch so fast,

A sight that makes our smiles last.

With acorns tucked beneath its chin,

It spreads a joy that’s felt within.

A little greeting, quick and bright,

Turns any day from dark to light.

This squirrel, clever, kind, and spry,

Brings joy to all who pass it by.

Positioned in the squirrel’s seat on Raymond Norris’s John Deere 7700 which he built and uses ONLY for tractor pull competitions. Hmmm, wonder if I should just drive this baby out of here right now…
