Sabine's Inaugural Post

I would say my decision to take a 9-hour flight to Washington, D.C. and drive to Maryland at Woodlawn Farm was a great decision.
Now after staying 1 week, I feel at home. Of course it's not always easy to work, but we are managing well.
The host family is so lovely and they really care about us. And because of this, we look forward to staying several more weeks.
We already got a first impression of the United States, especially of the people, the food, the landscape, the currency, the supermarkets, the cars, the restaurants, the roads and also the traffic. Our amazing host family allows us to take a car, which we can use to drive.  Already we have had some funny experiences on the roads in Maryland.
I would like to say: the best thing about this stay may be their well-made wine!
