First Day in Maryland
We arrived in Washington and after many security controls we met Tuck who is Maggie's and Jim's son. When we went out of the airport we were shocked about the heat. Tuck took us to Jubilee Farm, where is a beautiful house directly on the water, a pool, ponds, a sweet little dog named Jack and our guest parents. And everything looks typically American.
After a long sleep, the next day started and we drove to Woodlawn Farm and toured around with our camera. It is a big and impressive farm on the water like Jubilee Farm and we like it very much.
We decided each day to ask a special question of someone both to learn more broadly and to make more friends. Here is our first Q&A.
QUESTION OF THE DAY, ANSWERED BY JIM THE INNKEEPER:
Can you swim in the water [Calvert Creek, see picture below] or are there any dangerous animals in there?
"The entire Chesepeake has jellyfish, so it is hard to swim in it like other beach waters." --- Jim Grube
